What Altols does, and what it doesn't

Altols crops and scales the photo you took so it matches the official size and head measurements, and it checks the things that most often get photos rejected: a dark or patterned background, uneven light, a tilted head, a face too small or too large in the frame.

It never changes your face, smooths skin or swaps the background. Passport offices reject edited photos, so if a check fails, the fix is to retake the photo rather than to edit it.

Canada and Germany are not listed: Canada requires a commercial photographer, and Germany requires certified digital photos taken by approved providers.

Each finished photo costs $4.99 USD, paid once, and includes the digital file and a print sheet.
